Artifice NYC is a cultural 501(c)(3) based in New York. We use science fiction as a method of public research — treating art, technology, and speculation as tools for imagining and prototyping the future. Our programs include public exhibitions, artist residencies, and the Artifact Index, an open archive that documents how creative practice actually happens. We work with artists, technologists, and institutions to produce work that is rigorous, reproducible, and open to the public.
